limit or no limit?

Myself, I have only played no limit, so I guess I prefer it. I am still a newbie at it all, and no limit is the way my grandmother taught me. lol. Just wondering what everyone else prefers.

I like to go back and forth between the two, and also play some good ol' five-card draw. Not into razz and Omaha though.

I have found that switching back and forth keeps your skills sharp and also breaks the monotony

I too try to play both limit and no-limit games. I find that I think more about pot-odds and implied-odds when playing limit holdem and I tend to play more draws. Playing no-limit forces me to be more disciplined.

What is razz, 5-card, and omaha? Did I mention I'm a newbie? lol. I have never heard of any of those, well, except for 5-card. I've heard it on TV and stuff, but I don't' know what it means.

I prefer limit. And the reason is really simple - it limits me from doing stupid things. I think everyone has to have a sort of limit above him.

I would have to agree with the poster right above me. I generally prefer to play limit for the same reasons. I just feel more comfortable being fairly new at the game.
