Hollywood meets Las Vegas as Bravo unleashes the "Celebrity Poker Showdown." In the debut season, the showdown featured six tournaments and 25 celebrities competing for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool for the charity of their choice.

Each week, five celebrities competed in a Texas Holdem tournament with the winner moving on to the championship round in the sixth episode finale. Celebrity Poker Showdown is hosted by comedian/actor Kevin Pollak who starred in blockbuster movies like "A Few Good Men" and "The Usual Suspects". At his side is poker expert Phil Gordon. Gordon's resume includes nearly $1,000,000 in poker tournaments in the last two years including a 4th place finish in the 2001 World Series of Poker and a first place finish in the World Poker Tour: Aruba (professional division) in 2002.

Celebrity Poker Showdown adds a whole new dimension to the Texas Holdem you have previously seen on TV. It's an out of control thrill ride that's complete entertainment for all fans of Texas Holdem.
