Once lost 1,000 dollars playing poker over a 3 day period in Reno, NV.

Ouch, there is no way I could afford to lose that amount of money right now. So I don't tend to play in any big stake games.

When I lost that $1000 in Reno,NV it was 1968. Just think what that would be worth in today's dollar's. Oh, How did I forget that the Euro is kicking the dollar's ass!

You can almost bet and win that you would have been able to buy a lot more then than you could now. Oh to have some of those prices now.
