I am not very good when it comes to bluffing. What are your tips that might help me out. Thank you.

Do you play online or in a group in real life?

I play with my husband and some of his friends. Don't ask me how that started but they allow me to play with them. I wish I could play online but cannot do that anymore because of the new law here.

When most people bluff, they will try to make their body language suggest they have a stonger hand than they actually do. They might announce their bet with more authority than normal, and try to give the impression they are extremely confident with their hand.

So, if you are playing against people who are watching for bluffs, resist the temptation to suddenly act confident; try to behave the same in every had you play and people will find it harder to spot your bluffs.

Targetting your bluffs against players who easily fold is also a good strategy. Usually they will fold and you will win the pot. There is no real value in bluffing against players who call too often.

Bluffing is a very complicated subject these days. The internet and books provide so much srategy on bluffing that some players try and trick you in to thinking thier bluffing when they are not.

I would have to agree with you on that. I have seen a lot of friends that like to pretend they are bluffing to mess with the players.
