When Do You Raise on the Blinds 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 1  
So do any of you tend to raise on the blinds and if so why or why not and when is the best time to do that. I mean what hand do you feel you need to have to do this? thanks

I don't usually raise on blinds. Certainly you can do that to put more pressure on your opponents, but it doesn't really make sense.

If you are either the big blind or the small blind and you have 1 of the top 10 starting hands, you must at least raise in this position. Do not let other players limp in with marginal hands.
