You ever notice that when you ask someone who plays scratch off tickets, "Are you ahead or losing", they always say "Oh, I'm about break even" LOL, BS

Yeah, no, I'm not about to break even. I might be ahead though. I don't buy them that often, but I won $1,000 on one once. Then $100 right after that. I'm pretty good with them. I seem to be pretty lucky when it comes to scratch-offs, but I have never won a penny on the lottery drawings.

I have found that it really just depends who I am playing. Now my husband is an aggressive player and doesn't know when to back off. He is getting better at it though.

I stick to my basic strategy whether I'm getting great hands or not. Playing "what if" with community cards after you fold is not a good idea. Your energy is better spent watching your fellow players, trying to guess what they have, watching for their tells.

I just seen where you were talking about the scratch off tickets. I dont really tend to have a lot of luck with them. I did win 100.00 once but that is about it besides some of the lower amounts here and there.
