The 2006 WSOP begins this Sunday with a $2 million Tournament of Champions freeroll sponsored by Harrah’s. The event is comprised of 27 players including the 9 from last year’s Main Event final table, 12 WSOP circuit event winners, and 6 sponsor exemptions. The top 9 players will finish in the money with first place receiving $1 million.
