Thursday, 16 March 2006 Although a long way from becoming law, the proposed anti-gaming legislation in the US caused a drop in shares of companies associated with online gaming. Companies traded in the UK like Neteller and PartyGaming found their shares in a decline after political maneuvering in the US attempting to block on-line gaming companies from accepting credit cards and other methods from US gamblers. Previous anti-gaming legislation attempts in the US have been defeated.
