As poker shows flood the market, television ratings have begun to decline. Bravo’s “Celebrity Poker Showdown,” ESPN’s “World Series of Poker” and the Travel Channel’s “World Poker Tour” have all seen a decline in a number of viewers from previous years. Time will tell if this marks the beginning of the end for the poker boom, or if producers of poker shows can find a way to recapture the television audience.
