Televised Poker Ratings on the Decline |

Tuesday, 21 March 2006 As poker shows flood the market, television ratings have begun to decline. Bravo’s “Celebrity Poker Showdown,” ESPN’s “World Series of Poker” and the Travel Channel’s “World Poker Tour” have all seen a decline in a number of viewers from previous years. Time will tell if this marks the beginning of the end for the poker boom, or if producers of poker shows can find a way to recapture the television audience.
